Dentures & Partial Dentures

If you’re missing a tooth or all of your natural teeth due to gum disease, injury, or tooth decay, you can regain your smile and confidence with dentures. Dentures are a great way to replace lost or missing teeth, so you can enjoy a healthy diet, improve your speaking ability, and restore your brilliant smile.

At BrightCraft Dental and Laser, we offer complete and partial dentures that resemble your natural teeth. You can rest assured that rebuilding your smile is in the best hands when you visit our office.

What are dentures?

✓ A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues.
✓ They are made to fit snugly over your gums, providing support to the structure of your mouth, lips, and cheeks so you can eat, talk and gain a boost of self-confidence.
✓ Dentures are fabricated from a flesh-colored acrylic base and are custom-made from the impressions taken of your mouth.
✓ The shape and color of the denture teeth are selected to match your other teeth so there is no difference in your appearance.

Dentures we provide

We offer two types of dentures to our patients.

The first is complete dentures, also known as full dentures, which replace all of your teeth on a particular arch, whether it be the top or bottom arch.

Complete dentures can be grouped into two categories: conventional and immediate dentures.

Conventional dentures are placed in your mouth after the remaining teeth have been removed and gum tissue has healed, taking anywhere from 8 to 12 weeks.

Immediate dentures are placed into your mouth the same day your natural teeth are removed, and the healing process takes place several weeks after the procedure.

The second type of denture we offer is partial dentures, which are recommended when some healthy teeth remain.

Partial dentures fit around the healthy teeth and replace the missing ones, using dental implants or clasps to provide the necessary support, since there is insufficient material to create suction to hold partial dentures in place.

What's involved in getting dentures?

✓ On your initial visit, we engage in a comprehensive discussion of your objectives and conduct an evaluation to determine your candidacy for treatment.

✓ We perform a meticulous examination of your oral cavity to gauge the scope of required work.

✓ Following this, we capture highly precise impressions (molds) of your teeth and gums, laying the foundation for crafting your customized denture.

✓ Achieving impeccable dental work may necessitate several appointments, ensuring the proper shape, color, and fit until you are entirely content with the outcome.

✓ While initial increased saliva flow and minor soreness may occur, these discomforts typically subside as your muscles and tissues adapt to the new dentures.

✓ In addition, we provide you with comprehensive care instructions to ensure the optimal maintenance of your new dentures.
