Position Overview:

Degree Wellness has embarked on an exciting national franchise expansion, and we are looking for a technically curious, yet customer-oriented Solutions Engineer Associate to join our growing team.

In this role, you will be the internal expert on our core operational platforms, which include a mix of third-party and proprietary software. You’ll play a critical role in onboarding new stores, customizing technical platforms to local needs, and ensuring consistent, reliable use of digital tools across the network.

This is a junior-level, hands-on technical role that blends system setup, digital onboarding, support, documentation, and light development. You’ll join our engineering team while working cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and development to drive franchise success at scale.

The ideal candidate brings a mix of basic technical training, strong interpersonal skills and a desire to grow. Successful Solutions Engineer Associates have multiple career paths available—whether advancing in the Engineering department with increasing technical responsibility or transitioning into Operations to tackle high-impact business challenges.

Responsibilities:

New Store Digital Onboarding

  • Own the setup of all digital tools for new stores, including: Degree proprietary systems, marketing platforms (Google Business Profile, Facebook Pages), third-party software and integrations

Mindbody (MB) Onboarding & Customization

  • Customize the Degree Wellness Mindbody template (our third-party CRM and POS) for each franchise location
  • Configure services, staff, pricing, schedules, and integrations to match local operating needs

MB Support & Help Desk

  • Serve as the internal point of contact for all MB-related questions and technical support
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues not handled by MB's external support team

Process Optimization & Best Practices

  • Act as the in-house MB expert, reviewing platform use across locations
  • Document best practices and maintain internal training materials

Technical Support & Development Collaboration

  • Provide basic technical support for internal tools and software integrations
  • Assist with QA testing, troubleshooting, and light development tasks (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/PHP)
  • Work with external developers on platform enhancements and bug fixes

WordPress Administration

  • Manage and support web content updates via the WordPress admin panel
  • Partner with the marketing team to maintain franchise location pages and blog content

Required Qualifications (Technical skills):

  • Proven experience with Mindbody , especially in multi-location setup and configuration
  • Fluency with HTML, CSS , and JavaScript
  • Experience with PHP , particularly for WordPress -based customization
  • Comfortable using in-browser developer tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools ) to inspect, debug, and test
  • Familiarity with API usage , including integration and basic troubleshooting
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to clearly document processes and train non-technical users

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Business Profile, Facebook Pages, or similar local marketing tools
  • Experience with help desks or ticketing systems
  • Background in SaaS onboarding, platform support or technical customer success
