Taylor Corporation is looking for a Press / Print Operating Technician in our Fridley, MN facility. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. This role involves setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting printing equipment while ensuring adherence to safety standards and production schedules. Your shift is 3rd Shift; 6pm - 6am with 3 days a week on a 5 week rotating schedule (Monday - Wednesday, then Thursday - Saturday on rotation). Responsibilities include carrying out detailed instructions from job orders, identifying and correcting errors, setting up/adjusting press for job runs, monitoring product quality and equipment, initiating job start-ups, performing routine maintenance, meeting standards for output, waste, and spoilage, adhering to safety guidelines, keeping workspace clean, and completing logs and paperwork accurately. Mechanical and technical skills, basic math skills, ability to operate equipment proficiently, understanding verbal and written instructions, professional communication, and strong attention to detail are required. Physical requirements include remaining stationary, operating machinery, moving inside the facility, and lifting/moving up to 25+ pounds. Preferred qualifications include UV printing experience, ability to distinguish colors, production environment experience, and high school education or equivalent.
