Minimum 1+ years paraprofessional or special education experience required.Must haveEducator Credential: Educational Interpreter Authorization Details: Position Type: Full-Time, 32+ hours Caseload: 1st grade student with multiple disabilities, student is still learning sign language so need someone who can support his needs and teach him to sign Pay range: $21 - $28/hr; depending on experience Responsibilities: Support students during mealtime, including feeding and ensuring dietary restrictions are followed. Help students with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure their safety and comfort. Collaborate with teachers and therapists to implement individualized care plans. Foster a nurturing and respectful environment that promotes students' independence and dignity. Maintain accurate records of student progress and activities. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (required). Experience working with individuals with special needs or in a healthcare setting is a plus. Compassionate and patient demeanor, with excellent communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions. Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to the well-being of students.
