The radiology manager manages the day-to-day operations of Radiology Services, in accordance with the established hospital and department policies and standards while working in conjunction with the Corporate Director Imaging Services and Radiology Medical Director. Plans, directs, and supervises administrative and technical functions. Maintains compliance with regulatory agencies. Plays a lead role in the strategic planning process and the implementation of initiatives focused on enhanced performance, workflow redesign, and developing a culture that emphasizes excellence in the quality and delivery of radiology services. Minimum three years experience in a hospital setting with appropriate broad experience within Radiology Services to be familiar with all aspects of departmental procedures. AHA (American Heart Association) Healthcare Provider CPR Certification provided through Cape Fear Valley Training & Development only. You must demonstrate positive interpersonal skills. Verbal and written skills required. You must demonstrate good patient care, demonstrate knowledge of growth and development and understands the range of treatment needed for all age groups. You must provide care based on the patient’s developmental need. Experienced in the treatment of and interacts effectively with patients of all ages to include neo-natal, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. This position requires a lot of standing and bending. You must have manual dexterity and visual acuity. You must have mobility to assume awkward positions. You must have the mobility to respond to emergency situations. You must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. You must be able to bend and lift. This position may require to you come in contact with skin, eye, or mucous membrane and you may come in contact with blood or other potentially infectious material.
