As a Financial Analyst, you will be central to our financial operations, providing insights that drive decision making. You’ll collaborate with teams across the company to analyze data, optimize costs, and support our growth in both large-scale retail and premium cafe operations.
This role is located onsite in the San Francisco Bay Area. Relocation assistance is not available.
You must be able to travel between our sites in South San Francisco and San Leandro, as needed (up to 30% of the time). The homebase for this role is in South San Francisco.
What You’ll Do
· Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements; conduct variance analysis to guide performance.
· Budgeting & Forecasting: Support annual budgeting and rolling forecasts to align with business objectives.
· Cost Analysis & Efficiency: Analyze manufacturing costs and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
· Business Partnering: Collaborate with production, product development sales, and marketing teams to provide financial insights and support decisions.
· Financial Modeling: Build models for strategic planning and assess the impact of business decisions.

What You’ll Need
· 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or a related field with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or Economics.
· Recent MBA graduates are also encouraged to apply if they have relevant coursework or internships.
· Experience in food manufacturing is beneficial but not required.
· High Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Sage, Oracle), PowerBI and SQL is a plus.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
The salary range for this role is $70,000-95,000 annually. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, which may include years of relevant experience; degrees, certifications or other professional licenses held; and other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the role.
