At EōS Fitness, Facilities Technicians play a critical role in delivering on our Core Purpose: “To create loyal, lifelong fans and exercise practitioners,” by ensuring our clubs provide a high-value experience to members and guests. Facilities Technicians lead the maintenance and repair of both the fitness facility and its equipment, supporting the operational excellence of multiple locations. Core Purpose: To create loyal, lifelong fans and exercise practitioners.
Expectations and Duties:
General Responsibilities
• Oversee 4-6 clubs, ensuring building systems and fitness equipment operate at peak efficiency.
• Manage and close tickets in FMX, maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Provide support for projects and coverage during vacancies or PTO as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized inventory for tools, parts, and materials.
Preventative Maintenance and Repairs
• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on all building systems, fitness equipment, massage chairs, hydro beds, drink coolers, and other club assets.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs, including but not limited to:
• Plumbing fixtures
• Light fixtures and bulb replacement
• HVAC units, sensors, and thermostats
• AV systems/TVs
• Flooring, wall finishes, and millwork
• Door handles, trim, and hardware
• Pool mechanics and filters
• Complete required manufacturer certifications (may involve out-of-state travel).
Vendor Management
• Provide onsite management for vendors and local service providers.
• Ensure vendor work meets company standards and deadlines.
Team Collaboration
• Support large equipment repairs requiring two technicians.
• Work closely with club teams and leadership to ensure smooth operations.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
• Building Systems: 3-5 years of building maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, and general repairs.
• Equipment Expertise: 3+ years of mechanical work experience, preferably with fitness equipment.
• Experience in fitness facility maintenance is preferred.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Certifications: CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to multiple job locations.
