Job Description Your Career The Consulting Director will spearhead Proactive Consulting Services across an expanding range of strategic offerings including SOC Assessments, Cloud Security, AI/ML Security Assessments, and other innovative service areas. This senior consultant will act as a trusted advisor, aiding customers in enhancing their cybersecurity resilience and elevating their security maturity. Your Impact Lead the innovation and improvement of SOC, AI Security, and Cloud Security consulting services. Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity assessments, focusing on SOC maturity, cloud security, AI/ML risks, and application/infrastructure security. Translate technical insights into actionable business risk implications and strategic recommendations. Utilize frameworks such as NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001, among others, for reviews and assessments. Provide subject matter expertise in various environments, including cloud-native, hybrid, and on-premises ecosystems. Guide the development of security programs, threat detection capabilities, and incident readiness. Integrate Palo Alto Networks products into consulting engagements to enhance value. Engage with prospects to identify cyber risks across SOC operations, cloud infrastructure, and AI implementations. Align Unit 42 solutions with customer challenges, delivering clear communications regarding solution value and outcomes. Assist engagement teams in addressing technical objections throughout the delivery process. Enhance the team's ability to tailor recommendations to clients' unique business processes. Build long-term client relationships, establishing Unit 42 as a trusted strategic advisor. Create and deliver consulting enablement content to augment Unit 42’s capabilities. Collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback that informs product features and consultant needs. Your Experience 4+ years in cybersecurity advisory or risk assessments based on recognized frameworks and standards. 6+ years in professional services/consulting, preferably with 3+ years in a Director role leading consulting teams. Experience in SOC Maturity, Cloud Security, AI/ML Model Assessments, or similar areas. Advising CISOs on strategic planning, resource prioritization, capability development, and roadmaps. Strong knowledge in cybersecurity domains: network, endpoint, identity, cloud, and AI/ML security principles. Skillful in translating strategic discussions into detailed proposals and outcomes. Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, and cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with emerging threats and translating them into practical assessment strategies. Past experience managing diverse consulting teams and scoping new opportunities. Background in scripting or automation tools is advantageous. Proven public speaking, training, and enablement experience preferred. 10+ years of strengthening long-term client relationships. Willingness to travel as needed (approximately 25%). Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience required. Our experts are well-versed in data breach responses and proactive strategies for long-term security posture improvement. Compensation Disclosure Compensation for this position will depend on qualifications and experience, with a starting salary between $183,000 and $252,000.
