Job Description
Max Motors Dealerships is seeking a highly motivated and reliable Dealer Trade Driver to join our team. As a Dealer Trade Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting vehicles between our dealerships and other dealerships in the area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys driving and is looking for a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Pickup and deliver vehicles between our dealerships and other dealerships in a timely manner
- Inspect vehicles for any damage or defects before and after transport
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each trade
- Ensure all necessary equipment, such as tie-downs, is properly used to secure vehicles during transport
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and dealership staff regarding trade status and potential issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 1 year experience driving commercial vehicles or vehicle transport experience preferred
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of safe driving practices
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work after-hours or on weekends when necessary
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must pass a background check and drug test
