Material Differences is an Interior Design Firm based out of Northern Virginia.

Role Description:

This is a part-time remote role for a Bookkeeper/Assistant Project Manager with our small Architectural/Interior Design firm. As our Bookkeeper/Assistant Project Manager you will be responsible for our books through QUICKBOOKS ONLINE to include financial statements, reconciliations, payroll, invoicing, etc. On the project management side, you will work closely with our Designer and Project Manager, communicating with vendors and clients to help ensure that all aspects of our projects are implemented according to specifications.

  • Ability to accurately maintain records of project updates, decisions, and any changes that occur throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Project Management Support
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in design software and project management tools
  • Financial Statements and Bookkeeping skills
  • Proficiency in QUICKBOOKS ONLINE
  • Proficiency in Design Software Platforms, and EXCEL SPREADSHEETS
  • Experience with Journal Entries (Accounting)
  • Self-Starter with the ability to work independently and remotely
  • Previous experience in project management is a plus
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
