Job Title: Billing Agent

Job Type: Temp-to-Perm

Location: Onsite – Jamaica, Queens, NY

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM–5:30 PM

Pay Rate: $21.50/hour (occasional OT)

Start Date: ASAP

Company Overview:

Our client is a global logistics and supply chain company with a strong presence across North America and internationally. Their New York location is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Billing Agent to support daily invoicing and documentation processes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Position Summary:

The Billing Agent will be responsible for processing customer and vendor invoices, updating internal billing records, and ensuring accurate shipment cost allocation. This position is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of administrative or billing experience who is eager to grow within a structured and professional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner using internal systems
• Match vendor invoices to the correct shipment data
• Allocate costs appropriately for accurate billing and reporting
• Maintain and update billing documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of billing, invoicing, or office support experience
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office software
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must be comfortable working onsite daily in Jamaica, Queens
