Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Director to lead and oversee the bar programs at Dalida and new concepts. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a deep knowledge of mixology, exceptional management skills, and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences. This position is responsible for setting the tone and standard for all bar operations, ensuring consistency, profitability, and innovation across both locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
Recruit, train, and mentor bar staff for both restaurant locations
Establish clear performance expectations and conduct regular evaluations
Schedule bar team members across both venues, ensuring coverage and labor efficiency
Foster a positive, team-oriented work culture that aligns with company values
Operations & Service Standards
Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring high levels of service and guest satisfaction
Maintain quality control on all beverage products and service standards across both restaurants
Collaborate with GMs and FOH teams to ensure seamless integration of bar and dining operations
Implement and uphold all health, safety, and sanitation policies
Beverage Program Development
Develop innovative, seasonal cocktail menus and curate wine, beer, and spirits offerings
Monitor beverage trends and guest preferences to drive menu updates and promotions
Create SOPs for drink preparation, garnishes, glassware, and presentation
Financial Management
Manage bar-related budgets, including cost control, forecasting, and labor efficiency
Conduct regular inventory, ordering, and vendor management for both locations
Analyze sales data and implement strategies to boost revenue and profitability
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure full compliance with all local and state liquor laws and regulations
Keep accurate records for alcohol purchases, licenses, and safety certifications
Generate weekly/monthly reports on bar sales, costs, and performance metrics
Qualifications:
5+ years of bar leadership experience, preferably across multi-unit operations
Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, beer, and current beverage trends
Proven track record in team leadership and staff development
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Experience with POS systems, inventory management, and scheduling software
Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Certified in ServSafe Alcohol or equivalent (or able to obtain)
